Oh to be Carrie Bradshaw and walk down 5th Aveneue, pop into Manalo Blahnik and pick up a pair of the most beautiful shoes in the world and then just a quick browse around Lanvin to grab a dress for that special evening….hmmmmm….
So as a fashion lover and a girl in the ‘real’ world is it just me or whenever you read an article or book on fashion and the author is a well known fashionista celeb their biggest fashion tip is to mix high end with high street….well who can afford high end designer!!!
Dont get me wrong, if I could mix my favourite Topshop dress with a gorgeous pair of Laboutins then I would but realistically us ‘real’ girls could never afford them!
So the question now is where do I buy designer look-a-likes but without having to pay a month’s mortgage for them….
